Tomato Pasta Salad

Tomato Pasta Salad

Ingredients

1 package (7 ounces) small pasta shells

2 medium tomatoes, chopped (1 1/2 cups)

2 medium green onions, chopped (2 tablespoons)

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil

2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves

½ teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon coarsely cracked pepper

Directions

  1. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. Rinse with cold water; drain

  2. Mix remaining ingredients.

  3. Toss pasta and tomato mixture.

  4. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled.
