Dogwood Farms
Dogwood Farms is located in Hillsborough NJ. It is a part of Duke Farms and is a USDA certified organic farm. Dogwood Farms is owned and operated by Jon & Kim Knox. This farm is a crucial part of the project as it was the first farm involved, making the whole project possible. The generosity and passion for the project is incredible. All the people who work at the farm share enthusiasm and kindness, making this farm a pleasure to work with.
Flipside Farm
Flipside Farm is located in Bedminster NJ. Flipside Farm is owned and operated by Taylor James. The farm is chemical free and in transition to a USDA certified organic farm. They became a key part to the project at the end of the summer. They are a young and growing farm and even with the limited produce they were extremely generous and donated lots of produce.
Harvest Moon Organic Farm
Harvest Moon Organic Farm is located in Hillsborough NJ. It is a part of Duke Farms and is a USDA certified organic farm. Harvest Moon Organic Farm is owned and operated by Kyle and Rita Goedde. This farm was not originally involved in the project, but since they share the barn with Dogwood Farms, they became aware of my project and decided to get involved in the project, donating a wide variety of vegetables. This farm grows many vegetables that are different from Dogwood Farms, making the types of produce donated varied. It was a pleasure to work with this farm as they got involved without knowing much about the project, only looking to help the community.
